Clean Up Days occur each spring and fall. The Service Department will have several trash dumpsters brought to the Civic Center parking lot located at 6101 Meijer Drive for residents to drop off damaged or unwanted household goods. This includes furniture, toys, bikes, grills, concrete blocks, building or landscaping lumber, small & large appliances, lead batteries only, lawnmowers, weed eaters, etc.
Mattresses and box springs MUST be wrapped in plastic and sealed with tape.
Items that are NOT ACCEPTED include yard clippings, leaves, tires, wet paint, alkaline or lithium batteries, propane tanks, anti-freeze, or any hazardous material.
We will also offer an on-site PAPER SHREDDING SERVICE ON SATURDAYS ONLY. The shredding event is held at the Miami Twp Safety Service Building located at 5904 McPicken Dr. This event must be entered from McPicken Dr, there is no access from Meijer Dr.
Must show proof of Miami Township residency required. This includes a State ID or Driver License with your Township address. If your ID does not have your Township address, you may bring a utility bill with your Township address and your State ID. Township Parks Assessment
Miami Township has completed an assessment of our parks in conjunction with The Kleingers Group to examine existing conditions of the grounds, structures and infrastructure at all Township parks.

Township Dining Guide
Using the Township’s ArcPro GIS software, the Community Development department fashioned a new map showing the restaurant locations throughout Miami Township, as well as a descriptive key identifying the restaurant names, cuisine type and location.

Golf Carts on Township Streets
Golf Carts are legal to drive on Miami Township streets with a speed limit of 25 MPH or less. The golf cart must be inspected, licensed and operated by a licensed driver who is at least 16 years old.
