The Board of Trustees of Miami Township, Clermont County, Ohio met in special session at the Miami Township Civic Building on September 7, 2004 with the following members present: Edwin H. Humphrey, Joseph W. Uecker and Mary Makley Wolff.
MRS. WOLFF made a motion to adopt the following Resolution:
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE AMOUNTS AND RATES AS DETERMINED BY THE BUDGET COMMISSION FOR THE 2005 BUDGET AND AUTHORIZING THE NECESSARY TAX LEVIES AND CERTIFYING THEM TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR, AND DISPENSING WITH THE SECOND READING
WHEREAS, the Board has in accordance with the provisions of law previously adopted a Tax Budget for the next succeeding fiscal year commencing January 1st, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the Budget Commission of Clermont County, Ohio, has certified its action thereon to this Board together with an estimate by the County Auditor of the rate of each tax necessary to be levied by this Board, and what part thereof is without and what part within, the ten mill tax limitation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of Miami Township, Clermont County, Ohio by authority of Chapter 504, Sections 5705.34 and 5705.35 of the Ohio Revised Code, as follows:
SECTION 1: That the amounts and rates, as determined by the Budget Commission in its certification be and the same are hereby accepted.
SECTION 2: That there be and is hereby levied on the tax duplicate of said Township the rate of each tax necessary to be levied within and without the ten mill limitation as specified in attachments listed as Schedule A and Schedule B.
SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Miami Township be, and is hereby directed to certify a copy of this Resolution to the County Auditor of said County.
SECTION 4: That this Board of Trustees hereby finds and determines that all
formal actions relative to the passage of this Resolution were taken in an open
meeting of this Board, and that all deliberations of this Board and of its
Committees, if any, which resulted in formal action, were taken in meetings open
to the public, in full compliance with applicable legal requirements, including
Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall take effect at the earliest period allowed by
law.

Effective: October 7, 2004
MR. UECKER seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution. On the roll call being called the vote resulted as follows:
