The Board of Trustees of Miami Township, Clermont County, Ohio met in regular session at the Miami Township Civic Building on May 18, 2004 with the following members present: Edwin H. Humphrey, Joseph W. Uecker and Mary Makley Wolff.
MR. UECKER made a motion to adopt the following Resolution:
ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING ZONE ON WERKSHIRE TERRACE, DISPENSING WITH THE SECOND READING
WHEREAS, certain sections of Werkshire Terrace have previously been posted "No Parking" by order of the Miami Township Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted by residents on Werkshire Terrace requesting that all of the street be posted "No Parking"; and
WHEREAS, this Board has caused to be made an engineering and traffic investigation upon the section of road(s) described above, and
WHEREAS, it is the belief of this Board that such investigation confirms the allegation that a problem does exist on Werkshire Terrace and it is necessary to establish a "No Parking Zone" for the entire length of the road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Miami Township Board of Trustees, Clermont County, Ohio by authority of Chapter 504 and Section 4511.11 of the Ohio Revised Code, as follows:
SECTION 1: That a No Parking Zone be established on Werkshire Terrace in addition to the existing No Parking Zone previously established by the Board.
SECTION 2: That the No Parking Zone be enforced between the hours of 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Weekdays only and that "No Parking Between the Hours of 8:00AM to 4:00PM Weekdays" signs be properly posted.
SECTION 3: The Board does hereby dispense with the requirement that this Resolution be read on two separate days, pursuant to Section 504.10 of the Ohio Revised Code, and authorizes the adoption of this Resolution upon its first reading.
SECTION 4: That this Board hereby finds and determines that all formal actions relative to the passage of this Resolution were taken in an open meeting of this Board, and that all deliberations of this Board and of its Committees, if any, which resulted in formal action, were taken in meetings open to the public, in full compliance with applicable legal requirements, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall take effect at the earliest period allowed by law.

Effective: June 17, 2004
MRS. WOLFF seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution. On the roll call being called the vote resulted as follows:
