MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Clermont County (April 21) -- The
Miami Township Police Department have arrested and charged two Forest
Park men with passing counterfeit $20 bills at 10 township restaurants
this week, including three on Friday.
The two men passed the phony cash Friday at Frisch's on Wards Corner
Road and Taco Bell and KFC on State Route 28 before being apprehended
at the Long John Silver store on SR28 after trying to pass a fake $20.
Other restaurants his this week included Skyline Chili, Steak n Shake,
McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King and Gold Star Chili, all on SR28 in
the Miami Township area.
Charleston Daniels of Cedarhill Drive and William Ravizee of Chardon
Lane were each charged with 12 counts of Criminal Simulation, which is
a misdemeanor of the first degree.
"When we arrested them they had large amounts of counterfeit
money on them, plus food bags and receipts where they had gone up and
down the road trying to pass the fake money," said Chief Steve
Bailey of the Miami Township Police Department.

Miami Township police were given a description of the suspects and
their vehicle by an employee of Skyline Chili. Miami Township police
observed the suspects and the described vehicle at Long John Silvers
making a food transaction. Police were able to secure the suspects and
evidence without incident at Long John Silvers.
